New Stampin' Up! In Colors!

There is nothing like adding new colors to your papercrafting to enhance your supplies – and this card using all the new Stampin' Up! In Colors show that off perfectly! I am totally loving these new In Colors – they work so well together and, as you will see in future projects, beautifully with the other Stampin' Up! colors as well. I have created several projects showing them off and I can't wait to share them with you.

The card I have for you today uses all five of the new In Colors. Let's get started with a look:

I started by running some Whisper White card stock through with the Old World embossing folder. Man, this folder is like a crafter's basic white tee – it pretty much goes with anything and everything! And you know love some texture! Then I added a 1 1/2″ strip of the Bumblebee patterned paper from the assortment pack on the front. One of the awesome things about new In Colors every year is that Stampin' Up! provides various collections – ink, paper, embellishments – in assortments or bundles so you can try them all out at a lower cost and choose your favorites.

Then I stamped the pot with Cinnamon Cider and amped up the shading with my Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blend. I added the stems in Just Jade. Then on a scrap of Whisper White, I stamped the flowers in Bumblebee and Magenta Madness and punched or fussy cut them out. I added them to the panel with dimensional adhesive and just HAD to add a little bling in the form of a Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of each one.

Come see why I am LOVING the New Stampin' Up! In Colors!

I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight on Whisper White, cut it into a basic rectangle, matted it on Just Jade, added it to the card and then popped the whole thing onto a Misty Moonlight panel. Then it all goes on the Bumblebee card base. Using all these colors in all these different ways – stamped elements, mats, patterns – gives a simple card like this a lot of “pop” and gives it a sense of fun even though it was VERY fast to make.
