I get asked a lot of questions about my family, and I have never really known if it was best to share that information with the world or not.  Not because we have deep dark secrets or anything, just because I always thought that who would care to read about our family, the boring and entertaining details and all of that.  But as I find myself answering a lot of emails regarding the people I love most, I am learning that many of you do want to know.

So today, I will start with my husband and the question I answer most about him.

His name is Matt, and we met 14 years ago in Lubbock, TX in Paramedic class at Texas Tech University.  We were in the same mega-code group, along with Donny B (hey Donny if you ever read this.) and it was our study group as well.  We dated forever, over six years, but that is an entirely other story.

After four years together, I announced to him that I was moving to Austin, and asked him if he would like to go to.  Now, I must interject, that he is standing right here, and here is what he said happened, "I'm moving, you can come if you want" is what I apparently said.  And if you have ever lived in Lubbock, you may know why I said this.  I was ready to live somewhere green, not the recycling type of green, the green where there are trees, with leaves, grass that is not brown, that sort of green.

So away we moved and then a few years later, we got married.

I often say that he has a tendency to wander.  He will disappear with no notice because something, somewhere caught his eye, or he thought that he might walk around and find something to catch his eye.  He is an amazing woodworker, loves to fish and is the best husband and father!

Now, to the question that I get asked the most, "Does your husband like you doing Stampin' Up!?"  The answer is YES!  Initially he was just alright with it, and now he loves it.  He doesn't want me to do anything else.  We both love that Stampin' Up! has allowed me to be at home with our Emily.  And he has also really enjoyed incorporating his woodworking in with stamping.  (Huh?, right?)  He has built several things for me to help either organize my stamp space, build a kick butt camera holder for me, paper dividers and much more.

And just very recently, he was able to incorporate fishing into stamping as well.  On the most recent incentive trip, there was a way for several of the husbands to win a fishing trip.

My husband has always dreamed about being flown to the middle of nowhere in Alaska to go fishing.  If you know him at all, you know that this is his ultimate dream.

And that is EXACTLY what happened this past month.  So, now he loves SU! more than any other husband in the world, I believe.  He got to live his dream, all because of Stampin' Up!

So this is a little about my husband, and I will share more about him, I promise.  After all, he is my best friend, so I can talk and talk and talk about him.
