I was on the phone today with one of my favorite people, and she asked me what my favorite SAB items are this year.
Normally I write a blog post, but #life!!!
Somehow, with all the chaos, I didn't finish the post that I had started. Yay me, lol!
I will share the list of my favorites and then below will be why I like them.
If you are new to SAB, it's like a stamper's second Christmas! Once a year, Stampin' Up! offers exclusive gift with purchase items. It runs through the end of February, and all the selections are while supplies last.
There are items you can earn with $50 increments and also with $100 increments. The first four are items you can choose with each $50 increment, the last is with a $100 order.
And I always say that free stamps stamp better, so now's the time to get free while you can.
AND you can also earn Stampin' Rewards on orders over $150. So with that, you can get $15 in free merchandise PLUS Sale-a-Bration items for free. See why I say it's like a second Christmas?
My Favorite Items
I no longer have product links for this company.
Heartfelt Hellos
This cute stamp set has six great sentiments in it. I love that it has a mother's day and father's day sentiment with it. It also has an Easter sentiment that has very pretty, yet neutral fonts, so it will work with most any paper or stamp set for Easter cards.
Then there is my favorite stamp that I think makes that whole set worth it – and that's the hello. I love “hello” for my cards and I LOVE that font. I have already made about a dozen cards just with that stamp.
To be honest, I don't know that I will use the other two stamps. We will see. I rarely use every stamp in a set, so I don't feel like I am loosing out on not using them. To me, the others make it worth it.
Trusty Toolbox Paper
If you like the Trusty Tools bundle, then this paper is a must because it coordinates. Tool stamp sets are very popular as it gives us a different option for masculine cards other than fishing or vehicles. Being married to a guy that loves his tools, this was the first bundle I ordered out of the spring catalog.
Having the patterned paper to go with it, total score!
Most Adored Paper
It's just pretty. Seriously. It's cute and pretty all at the same time. You have gold foil on one side and red and pink on the other.
I love that I can use the patterns all throughout the year, not just for Valentine's day.
Watercolor Melon
If I had finished this post earlier, this stamp set wouldn't be on the list. I just got it this week and I used it for an issue of Card Sketch of the Month, and it was a lot of fun to use.
I like that it doesn't have sentiments along with it! It made me dig into my other stamps to look for sentiments like, “you're sweet” etc.
And as I was stamping the watermelon wedge, it made me think of pizza. PIzza is my favorite food in the entire world, so it makes sense that that comes to mind. So you can do more with this stamp set than just watermelons.
Softly Sophisticated Bundle
This was my wild card option. I didn't know how I would like it until I got it. It's a stamp set and embossing folder bundle.
If you are like me, and you love dry embossing, this folder is awesome! I love that you can use it for most any occasion, it's a great everyday folder to use.
Then that stamp set is as sweet as can be. I love the “hello there” sentiment, because hello cards are my one of my favorite to make. I love the “you're in my thoughts” sentiment. And that “I really appreciate you” is a focus of Stamping Family over the past few months – making cards for those that we don't acknowledge as much as we can.
Was it worth a $100 order to get a free stamp set and embossing folder combo? To me, it is.
This is the time of year when I stock up on exciting things like white card stock, black card stock, envelopes, adhesives, all the fun and exciting things – ha!
So when you have a box of boring AND free stamps, it gets way more exciting way faster!
That's It!
Yep, those are my five favorites from the SAB catalog. There are other delightful items, but these are my top 5. I have each of these items, so it's not just a recommendation, these are the ones I selected because I knew I would use them the most.

XOXO, Meg
I love this. I is it was later in the year. Stampin up is amazing. I have had stampin up stamps for at least 25 years and they still work amazingly.
