Today I am sharing a card that I simply love. It is 100% my style, but that's not what I love about it most.

I love it most because of how it came to be.

It all started in a Stamping Family Zoom – we aren't calling them that anymore because “zooms” sound boring, so we gave it an upgrade to say what they really are – they are Make & Mingles!

It all started on one of those a few weeks ago. It was during our Tic Tac Toe challenge – a member favorite – and I picked the line that had Sweater/Knit Texture, Cozy Color Palette and Markers.

And that's how this card was born!

I grabbed a stamp set that I love dearly and knew the sweater would be perfect for this.

For my cozy color palette, I went with a combination I recently used with this same stamp set that I just really loved because of how it works perfectly for the leaves.

And I used my beloved OLO markers for the 3rd part of the challenge – it was an easy choice because I needed to color in my images!

A simple sentiment from the same fall stamp set and this card was complete.

Remember I said I love this card but the card is not what I loved most? I loved the cards that our members made way more than I loved my card!

AND more importantly, I LOVED creating along side of them!

Years ago in Stamping Family, I felt like I always had to be the leader with all the teaching on every video – because that's the way the site started. I forgot to adjust for the change, the change was planned, I just didn't set a date if that makes sense.

Our make sessions don't need a ton of teaching, they just need our members creating! That takes all the pressure off from members feeling like they have to have the same products. It takes the pressure off the members from feeling like their cards have to look like mine. It takes away all that pressure and we all just get to create!

There's plenty of time for questions and suggestions, advice and feedback, no worries!

What I heard in October, over and over again, was members saying they were using something they have had in their stash and they are using it for the first time ever! That is creative, that is fun, that's exciting!

Don't get me wrong, I love my new products, and I will share the links to the card today so that you can get them too. But what we have found to be the winning formula over in Stamping Family is that members are mixing their new with their old and creating incredible cards!

That's my most favorite part about this card – and it's cute too ❤️
