Making a Christmas Card with Stars – Paper Crafts Ideas

Today's paper crafts idea is a Christmas Card with a focus on stars.

I love blues and reds together for Christmas cards.  Don't get me wrong, I love the traditional reds and greens, but there is something about a blue and red color combination that gets me excited!

This card is one that you can make in minutes and uses very few supplies.

The stars are stamped in both Real Red and Coastal Cabana inks.  They are from the Many Merry Stars stamp set.  After being stamped, they are die cut using the Stars Framelits.

Both stars are layered using dimensionals.  And then both are added onto a die cut Coastal Cabana circle  – the Circle Framelits were used to cut the circle.

A little dry embossing was added to the lower section of the Whisper White card front.  I used the Filigree Frame embossing folder to take care of that.  And then the Natural Chevron Ribbon was used across the middle.  I love that this ribbon is only printed on one side, giving me the option of not using chevrons.

The inside piece of Whisper White was also dry embossed with the Filigree Frame folder.

And this card was completed with a Rhinestone Jewel in the middle of the smaller star.
