Making a Valentine with Paper Pumpkin
I got my Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail – and I couldn't wait to use this precious stamp set on a full size card! So today, we are making a Valentine with Paper Pumpkin.
Lots of products were mixed in this card, many you might not think to use on a Valentine.
Most Valentines are going to be pink and red, but think about adding in some different colors. My color palette came from the fantastic Have a Cuppa paper stack from Stampin' Up! So I pulled in Bermuda Bay, Basic Gray and also some Smoky Slate.
And then here is the January 2016 Paper Pumpkin stamp set:
I will be the first to admit, the kit as it stands isn't one of my favorites, but I love the stamp set and I can see so many possibilities on what to use the kit contents for – so it is one that will be re-purposed.
But that is a GREAT stamp set and was a fun treat to receive in the mail.
If you have ever thought about signing up for Paper Pumpkin – which is an auto-ship monthly kit, then now is the time to do it.
You can sign up for three months of it and see if it is something that works for you. The three month subscription is on sale right now for $55 INCLUDING shipping PLUS you get a free Sale-a-Bration item! So you save $5 and get a free SAB item and really test out if the product is for you. At the end of three months, you can sign up to keep it going or do nothing and have it end.

I pulled in the Have a Cuppa paper for the main card front and then added three banners from the same paper stack. Having the Banner Triple Punch saved me a bunch of time!
The stamps used were all from the Paper Pumpkin kit set, I just added some color to it with different ink pads on the stamps.
Then it was time for a little ribbon – and that is the new narrow Bermuda Bay ribbon that I am seriously crushing on. I haven't used this much Bermuda Bay card stock in forever – but after getting that ribbon, I can't stop using it!
Some card stock was adding to mat the sentiment layer and also the patterned paper card front, and this card was almost done.
I added a Whisper White card panel to the inside and dropped in some of the same heart paper matted with Bermuda Bay card stock to the inside of the card.
Below is the list of supplies I used. I am adding the 3 month Paper Pumpkin subscription, you won't get the January stamp set that I am featuring today when you sign up as that one has already gone out – but often they have extra kits that you can purchase ONLY if you are a subscriber! So you just might be able to score one 🙂
