Make This Halloween Card in Under 5 Minutes!

How would you like to send out this card to your favorite little Trick-or-Treaters this year?  Can you see the delight in their eyes as they open a card from you with a sentiment that speaks their language?

You know it's all about the candy, right?  If you asked a kid if they want to go door to door and ask for candy they will be gone in a flash to the first neighbor's house – costumes won't even enter their mind!

This card goes together faster than you would think.  It really can be done in under 5 minutes as long as you gather up your supplies ahead of time.

Here are the supplies that you will need:

1.  Paper Cutter and card stock

2.  Big Shot with Circle Framelits and Square Lattice Embossing Folder

3.  Corner Rounder Punch (or use the one on the Envelope Punch Board) and your Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch.

4.  Circle Punches to create your candy corn.  See this post for more on how to do that.

5.  Stamps, Ink, Chalk Marker and Patterned Paper

There are two things missing – your favorite music and caffeine.  Today for me it was all Journey.  (Yes, I was a child of the 80's and I love Journey.)  And today's coffee is from my neighbor who insists that Peruvian Organic Coffee is the bomb diggity of coffee.  It is so rare for me to stray from my favorite coffee, especially on a Monday morning.  I mean, if this doesn't go well, it could change the course of my entire week.  And it's Monday – I need a sure thing on a Monday.  But he promises it won't disappoint, I will report back to the group on this one.
