I am a total punch junkie! I love punches so much, and when they coordinate with a stamp set, even better!
I haven't had a monkey stamp set in many years, so I was ready to dive in with a new one. The Little Monkey Bundle is a lot of fun to use.
For today's project, I mixed and matched it with other stamp sets, but the sentiments in this stamp set are super cute. I love how the fonts have a mix of serif and handwritten font, all with the same sentiment.
Let me show you this fun bundle:
The punch coordinates with the monkey that is the most versatile in my opinion, so to me, they paired it with the perfect monkey! I used a banana image from this stamp set – and the punch works with that banana too, so a total win!
The Project
Here's our adorable project using the Little Monkey bundle.
How cute is this?
So the sentiment comes from the Best Family Ever stamp set. And the balloon comes from another bundle called Beautiful Balloons.
To help the stamped elements really pop, those dry embossed squares do exactly that.
This card has a great white on white on white layering with pops of color. Having those dry embossed polka dots takes this card next level in minutes!
Oh, and that little bow under the balloon, that was tied with the 10 Second Bow Maker.
The Coloring
There are many ways that you can color in your images. My favorite is Stampin' Blends. I went with these because they are just fast and easy. You can do a lot of blending or none at all, the choice is completely yours.
Stampin' Blends are alcohol markers, different from dye markers. And they are formulated to work with Stampin' Up!'s Basic White card stock.
Every kind of alcohol marker works better or worse with different types of card stock. You can learn more about Stampin' Blends here.
The Supplies
To recreate this card, you will need the supplies listed below. I featured the key supplies that you will need. To order any of these, click on an image or link below to get started.
I no longer have product links for this company.
I love the Beautiful Balloons bundle because you can mix and match it with so many other stamp sets. And the Best Family Ever, well, same thing! I use the snot out of that set!!!
When you buy stamps that mix and match well, then you expand your stamping possibilities exponentially!
