Hippest Hippos to Make a Birthday Card

I can't wait to share with you this Hippest Hippos Sale-a-Bration stamp set to make this adorable card!

There are few things I like more than polka dots, so I love the Dots & Spots cover die.  And with SAB wrapping up, I decided to pair use these fun items together.

This card is bright, cheerful, and just dang cute!

See what I mean?  I love it so much!!!

To make it, you will need the Hip Hip Hippos stamp set that is a SAB selection with a $50 order, and the Hippo Dies – another SAB selection with a $50 order.  So with a $100 order right now, you can choose this free stamp set AND die set that coordinates with it.

Let me show you both these items…

Take a close look at the die set – look at all those cool extra dies you get in this set.  The snorkel gear, umbrellas, sunglasses, boat, water, water splash, little flowers, small hearts, party hat, wash bucket and more!  I LOVE this die set!

There isn't much to making this card, as the dies do most of the work. The one key item that I recommend you use with this die set is Adhesive Sheets.  These are what I call giant sticker makers.  You add the adhesive sheet to your card stock before you die cut it, and then your die cut becomes a sticker!  It's perfect for these thin line dies.  So I used adhesive sheets with the Melon Mambo snorkel gear and the white life preserver.

I was digging around for the perfect happy birthday stamp to go along with this Hip Hip Hippo set, and the font in the A Grand Kid stamp set is PERFECT with these hippos, wouldn't you agree?
