I love ladybugs so much! Years ago, back when we used to have SUPER busy looking blogs, mine was covered in ladybugs.

After dry embossing some card stock yesterday with the, back-in-stock-but-who-knows-for-how-long, Basics Embossing Folders, I knew I had to add a ladybug to this one piece of dry embossed card stock.

This is a super fun pack of folders. It's the first time that Stampin' Up! has sold folders as a set. I kinda like it. At first I didn't know how much I would use the one I am using today.

It certainly wasn't my favorite in the group. And to be honest, it's still not my favorite out of the 3. But the other two knock it out of the park, so it's impossible for that one to ever make it to the top of the fave pile. However, I use it and I really like it every time I use it. So to me, that's a win!

It can be hard to look at a set of items and not compare them to each other. So the question I asked myself was, would I use it? And the answer was yes.

Let me show you this adorable card.

The Ladybug Card

Here it is …

So cute?!?! YES!

I love the black frame that helps the other elements pop. And I love how the red on the ladybug wings really stands out with all the yellow. I debated on the flower color, worried it may be a bit too much yellow. But after trying different colors, yellow was the way to go for sure!

And the best part is….

You don't need a ton of supplies to make this card!
