Hearts a Flutter framelits can really help you make your handmade Valentine's Day cards.  This past weekend, Emily and I were playing in my stamp room and I asked her to hand me the Hearts a Flutter framelits.  While she knew exactly what I was talking about, she had no idea what the word flutter meant.

So we talked about how butterflies flutter, and how fairies flutter around, and then she looked at me with that very serious six year old look, and said, "Mommy, I don't think I ever want my heart to flutter, I want it to stay right where it is."  It was precious!  This moment was quickly followed with her running out of the room saying that she had to go to the bathroom – and the moment was lost.

The More Amore Designer Paper is her favorite right now, go figure, with all those hearts on it.  And I noticed that I did not have much left – I used a lot of it for my VIP Program's Scrapbook Class this month (which goes live on the 16th!).  But I thought I had a little bit more than I really did.  So I looked, looked and looked some more this morning.  Then right after I got home from taking her to school I looked in our extra bedroom/play room and there were scraps (like teeny scraps) of it on the floor.  So I dug around a little more and saw that she had her own private stash of it hidden in her desk with a note on it:

Mommy, please do not use this paper if you find it.  I need it all to make you a card.  I love you, Emily.

Wow – spoken like a true stamper!

So I had very little to work with this morning, I mean I couldn't use any of her secret stash with that note on it!  Thankfully I had just enough to make this card.
