Another convention with Stampin' Up! has come and gone. I love attending convention because it always inspires me to play and mix things up! Are you wondering what I mean by that?
A long time ago, my Paramedic instructor told me this, "If you take a bit of knowledge from every other medic you work with and add that to a whole lot of you, you will be a great medic."
I think this applies to everything we do, even stamping. I take a little bit of inspiration with one project, add an embellishment from another project, sprinkle with a little glitter (that would be me 🙂 and that is when I really like what I come up with, projects I am proud of and excited to share.
Curious as to how I put this into practice? All you need to do is attend convention with me next year. I have the most amazing group of demonstrators, in a Stamping Showdown, my demos would be the ones left standing after the high noon shootout! And here is the best part of my demonstrators, years later, we are all still here!!! We are having fun having a creative job, we are inspiring others to get their craft on and laughing and playing and thoroughly enjoying what we do!
