Handmade Tea Cup Card
Let's made a handmade tea cup card! Today we are using a super new and fun bundle from the latest annual Stampin' Up! catalog. And we are using one of my favorite group of colors – the newest In Colors.
If you have followed me for more than a hot second, then you know how much I love bright colors. They are my favorites and what I grab all the time. So these new In Colors make this stamper very happy.
I wanted to just play with the colors and make a cute card. That was the entire goal of the card. I didn't have anyone in mind for this card, just spent part of a day crafting for you and me!
All I did was stamp the tea cup in five colors to start.
Wait, before I go further, let me share the project with you…

Here it is in all it's bright cuteness!
Simple, fun, bright, and cheery, right?
The Making
So back to what I was saying earlier, I started making this card by stamping the tea cups in all five colors and die cutting them out. I did use my mini die cutting machine for it. The more I use that little fella the more I like him. (And it is a him because it's cranky – like it has a crank to turn… get it?)
Then I die cut the smallest tag and heart from the same die set.
Next I layered the cups onto a piece of Basic White card stock, held them in place, and trimmed off the excess. Once I knew where I wanted them, I stamped my sentiment, also from the same bundle.
Then it was time to tie a cute little bow with Linen Thread with the 10 Second Bow Maker and add a scrap piece of Linen Thread behind a tea cup and flip it over the front to be the tag string for the tea bag tag.
The tea cups were added back to the card using Dimensionals.
All this stamping goodness was then layered onto a white card base and just like that you are done!
Now all you need to do to make this yourself is to get your supplies. I wonder where you could find a supply list….
Kidding, here it is! I really wonder if anyone actually reads the words I write or just looks at the pretty pictures. If you have read this, leave me a comment and let me know!
