Today we have a card that I designed for Brass & Bliss that is too pretty for words!
I used two stunning die sets – one I knew how it would turn out, the other… I had no idea what to expect.
Let me share the card with you and then I will share the tips that go with it.

How beautiful is this card?
So the die set I knew how it would turn out is the Noel die. It has 6 die cuts to it and the beauty of it is that you can have it vertical or horizontal on your card. Today's card is obviously the vertical, I will share another card soon with the horizontal.
But that die set has the four letter dies and then two backgrounds, one vertical and one horizontal. That's it, easy die set.
Then there is the Nested Woodgrain Sign. That die set is two pieces. The background that you can use on any card, it's just the cool outline shape.
Then the magic happens with that top layer die. I didn't know what all it would do other than die cut the outline edge/shape and then dry emboss the woodgrain on top.
But then, oooh – there was a surprise! It cuts the sides of the wood slats. So it doesn't all crumble into small pieces, it holds its shape but you can do fun things like weave ribbon or card stock or patterned paper or anything through it!
I was so excited to figure this out.
THEN I decided to see how it would do with patterned paper – be still my heart! It took it to the next level! There is no texture at all on that patterned paper on the card. That is all from the die!

Stunning, right?
The thing to note is that you can't use thin patterned paper, you need a good quality patterned paper because that woodgrain texture is no joke. They weren't fooling around when they made this die combo!
Short supply list, stunning results – it's a two-fer!
The Supplies

Other than that, you just need some white card stock and red ribbon.
It just doesn't get any easier than that!
Thank You!
Thank you for being here today and for reading this far!
Question of the Day: Have you ever considered buying the glue press (trigger type glue gun for liquid glue)? I resisted for YEARS and it was the best things for my hands. But I want to know your thoughts on it.
Thanks for being here, leave a comment below and I will see you in the next project! XOXO, Meg
