More Handmade Christmas Cards Ideas!
The other day I shared this gorgeous project and today I want to offer you more handmade Christmas cards ideas that help you save money and time! Because this project uses the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley, you are already getting more bang for your buck due to the incredible value of the supplies. The whole kit is $70 and while that might seem like a higher price point, it includes a FULL stamp set, an entire set of coordinating dies, a full pack of 6″ X 6″ (perfect for cards!) patterned Designer Series Paper AND a whole complement of embellishments. card fronts and trim. Honestly, I keep wondering if they are going to “catch” the “mistake” and raise the price – this thing is LOADED!
Here's today's choice of handmade Christmas cards ideas:
This card uses the 5-1/2″ X 3″ piece of Designer Series Paper left over from this project. I also embossed the white panel with what I think is THE most undersung embossing folder, Subtle, to add that very, well, subtle but so visually impactful texture. Like with the other project, layering the same color in flat and embossed textures adds a TON of visual interest.
I will say that using the Stamparatus made lining up the bows with the gifts that I then cut out with the included dies a total breeze. Without it, I probably would have lost my mind. I did love my Stamp-A-Majig but the Stamparatus is SO much better. There's absolutely no guesswork with lining things up and you can assembly line these so easily when you can just stamp the base, lift, stamp the bow, lift; you know, lather, rinse, repeat.
