Oh there are SO many ways to make a card totally girly but what about those handmade birthday cards for HIM? Check this one out!

This example of handmade birthday cards for him features masculine grays and blue - come check out the details!

I don't often brag on myself but MAN (no pun intended!) did this card come out great! I am kind of loving the way the stitched triangle detail behind the greeting almost makes it look like an award. Which, of course, is a nice touch on a birthday card for a guy!

Now birthdays are one of the most card-sending occasions and I really felt like my birthday stamp collection had become a little stale. When I saw this set, I pictured SO many different projects! I grabbed a sketch pad and a pencil and went nuts! I think I have about a dozen things to show you using this set and I can't wait to bring them all to life and share them with you! When you see a set that speaks to you, start doodling and see how many ideas you come up with. Then, when you get the set in your hot little stampin' hands, you will be ready to create those projects right out of the box!

You have to come see how we made these handmade birthday cards for him - SUPE simple!

I had some fun mixing and matching different stamp sets and dies to get the exact look. I turned the little plus signs background filler stamp from The Right Triangle stamp set on its side to make little kisses, used the new AWESOME Drybrush background stamp with that gorgeous Smoky Slate and coordinated two dies with the stitching effect to create some coordination. Using the same deep blue for the card base, the accent strip and the tiny stamped kisses creates plenty of spots for the eye to go to making this card have a lot of visual interest with just a teeny bit of work!
