Looking for some Halloween Card Ideas for quick and easy cards?

You guys know I love quick and easy cards but that I really like to add little touches that make them special. This one totally fits that bill AND uses up scraps, which you also may know is one of my favorite things to do! If I never had to put a piece of patterned paper in the trash again, I would be one happy woman! Let's take a look at how one of my cute Halloween card ideas came to life.

I am really enjoying these corner stamps from the Festive Corners set. They are different and fun and this spiderweb fits the Stitched Rectangles shapes so well!

On to today's card. When I say it is easy and fast, I really mean it! I should have timed myself making it and the fact that it is so fun to make made it seem like it was a 30 second project!

Stamp the word Spooky” in Tuxedo Black ink onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with a Stitched Rectangle die. Cut the next size up Stitched Rectangle from a scrap of Basic Black card stock. Now lay the black rectangle onto your card front and use it to line up and stamp the spiderweb in Tuxedo Black ink. Grab a couple of scraps of patterned paper – here I used Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive from the Regals Patterned Paper Assortment – and layer behind where your rectangles will go, toward the bottom.

Layer the white rectangle onto the black using Stampin' Dimensionals and then adhere the black rectangle over the strips using Stampin' Seal.

Now add a few of those new Iridescent Pearls to the card for a touch of bling and you are already finished! A word about those Iridescent Pearls – they are FABULOUS! As good as they look in this close up they look even better in real life. Watch for these to appear in some future products because they are really pretty!
