Gingham Garden and Chalk Talk from Stampin' Up!

Good Monday morning to you all!  This was the first Monday I had to sleep in in a while, thanks to Emily being out of school.  But the old internal clock prevented it. As I sat in my stamp room this morning, I could not wait to play with more of the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper.  You will all probably get sick of the cards that I make with this patterned paper for the next 12 months – but it is just such a bright, fun paper I just can't help myself.

I also busted out the Gingham Garden Washi Tape.  If you are new to Washi Tape with the new catalog, know that it is like pretty masking tape.  I used two of the three patterns on the strips going down the left hand side of the card.

Emily thinks that Washi Tape is beyond OSM (six year old spelling of ‘awesome').  She is a taper.  If she asks for tape for anything, I know that the roll is coming back to me empty.  In fact, she loves it so much that it was even a stocking stuffer for her one year – and a package of napkins (but that is a story for another day).  I tried to hide this from her, but it was almost like she is so in-tune with tape that even though this tape makes no sound when you take it off the roll, she magically appeared and asked what it was.  I showed it to her and her eyes lit up, she “borrowed” it, and that is why there are only two of the patterns on this card rather than the three in the set.
