My first rule with my supplies is to make sure they are versatile. That I can use them over and over again, until I am ready for them to move on to another craft space.
And these Wanted to Say dies fit the bill perfectly!!
I love how easy they are and how you can use them with most any patterned paper. AND I also love that none of the fonts are too manly or to girly. I used the “happy birthday” sentiment last week for both a card for my nephew and for my grown up neighbor – and that's the card I am sharing with you today.
Before we get further into the card, here's the awesome stamp set I used to make this card.

See what I mean about how it's not to feminine or masculine, it's just right for whomever is getting this card. I also like the little die doo-dads in there. I haven't played with them yet, but they are on my creative list for sure!
The Project
Today's project doesn't have any stamping on it. Not one bit! But you can certainly add some, especially on the card insert. I just write big, so I didn't, lol!
Here's the adorable fun fold card using the Wanted to Say dies:

How fun is this?
This card is just so pretty with this patterned paper. This is a favorite paper of mine for sure!
I show this in the video below, but the only trick IF you want the same pattern showing on each criss cross, is to make sure you flip your paper over for the second cutting that you do.
PRO TIP: Make sure that you are using Adhesive Sheets behind the white lettering for your sentiment. This is a game changer for sure!
Simply add your Adhesive Sheet to your card stock and then die cut it. You've then make your own die cut sticker!
Way less mess and stress than using anything else!
The Boho Blue piece is 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. And the two pieces of patterned paper start at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Your white insert will be determined by how wide your adhesive is 🙂

Let's Break It Down
So what I love best about this card is the die set. What I love second best is that I can make 24 of this card sticking with this pattern alone! That's A LOT of these fun folds, isn't it? This card makes you look like a creative genius, and not a lot of supplies are needed for it. Most of regular supplies you probably already have on hand.
So for the cost of dies plus the patterned paper, and let's add in the cost of the adhesive sheets… for 24 cards, you are looking at $2.50 a card AND…. you will have 9.5 left over sheets of patterned paper AND 11 more Adhesive Sheets AND the dies that you can use over and over again.
This is the way that I like to buy supplies!
