Friday Flip:  Making an Uplifting Card for a Friend (Video Tutorial)

Today's Friday Flip is all about making an uplifting card for a friend.  It's meant to acknowledge that person who just makes your days better and brighter.

Let's start with our inspiration card:

It is a simple card with some great elements on it.  We are keeping with the bow, the layers, the scallop, the banner  – and of course, the polka dots!

(And all the supplies are listed at the bottom of this post.)

The stamp set we are using is the You Brighten My Day set from Stampin' Up!, it is a Sale-a-Bration set, meaning that you can't purchase it, it is one that you can choose for free when you order $50 of goodies – and it's only available for another couple of months.

Many of the same elements are the same from our inspiration card, but just flipped enough to make it unique.
