Today's How to Make a Greeting Card Your Own aka The Friday Flip features the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and the Petite Pairs stamp set, both from Stampin' Up!

We are going to start with this card here:

And remake it with polka dots and leaves + a few butterflies as well.  So say goodbye to the thank you card…

First up is deciding our sentiment.  The one I chose is the from the Petite Pairs stamp set.  This is one of my most loved stamp sets, it is never out of arms reach.  It has such great variety, let me show you what all it has for you:

Then it was time to pick our colors.  I went with the colors from the Flower Pot patterned paper.  That meant Crushed Curry, Night of Navy, Blushing Bride and then I through in some Old Olive.  All the supplies are listed at the bottom of this page so you can see them all in one spot.

Then came the elements of the card.  I debated between the Stippled Blossoms and the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.  Both would have been great, but I opted for the stamp set with the coordinating punches to make my morning just a bit easier.  There will be some hand cutting, but not a lot 🙂

Then it was time to pick out our background paper.  You know I love me some polka dots and that is exactly what I went with for this Friday Flip project.  There is NOTHING like a good polka dot paper!  The paper is from the Flower Pot paper.  When the Flower Pot paper arrived in my stamp room, it was like the heavens parted, the bird of happiness landed on my shoulder and the unicorn of all things right in the world gave me the thumbs up.

I am not at all embarrassed to say that I am on my second package of this awesome paper.  What does amaze me is that I still had some of this polka dot pattern left!

Now let's turn to the video and see it all come together.  I present to you, The Friday Flip:

So the base of the card flipped and then so did the rest.  It completely changes the look and the feel for this card, doesn't it?!?!
