Feminine Birthday Card
Do you love stamp sets that are versatile enough to be used for both men and women, kids and adults? If so, this is a stamp set for you! And two card ideas showing you just how to do this.
Today we are making the feminine version of this card.
This card is so simple to make, if you blink you might miss all the steps! I get a ton of emails from stampers and they usually fall into two categories:
1. She has all the time in the world to stamp and don’t want to be rushed – but wants ideas.
2. She has no time to create but still likes to carve out a little “me time” – and wants ideas.
The beauty of these cards is that it works for both. For those of you who have nothing but time, make a dozen of these cards and give them to a friend who doesn’t like to stamp but loves to sends cards. For those of you who drink one sip of coffee and then you look up and it’s 11pm, stay up a few minutes and make this card.
This one can be made in under 10 minutes from start to finish. To do that, we aren’t going to use a lot of supplies… let’s go over them.
The Supplies

***Quick note before we go on, please remember that Blueberry Bushel and Call Me Clover are scheduled to retire in just a few months. If you want these colors, or extra card stock, an extra ink refill, now is the time to do it. So many stampers wait until the list officially comes out, the items quickly sell out, and then we have sad stampers – and nobody wants that!!
The Making
Start by stamping your word WISH in Daffodil Delight ink onto a piece of Whisper White card stock that is 4” x 5-1/4”. Then stamp the dots from the same stamp set on top of WISH in Blueberry Bushel ink. Next stamp the rest of your sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink.
All we have to do next is stamp the circles that would be part of your balloons from that stamp set in the opposite corners using your Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Call Me Clover, and Blueberry Bushel inks.
Stamp your little diamond in Tuxedo Black ink as shown.
Die cut two strips of Flirty Flamingo with the stitched scallop border die. Attach one strip at the top of your stamped piece and one below. Add to your Whisper White card base (4-1/4” x 11” or 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” depending on where you want your card open to be).
And just like that, we are done! Easy, right?
You could whip out an entire stack of these in just one episode of your favorite TV show!
Again, you can use this stamp set for men and women, kids and adults! Want to see another version of this card? Check back soon for when we take this same idea, and change it up. You won’t want to miss it. I like this card, but LOVE the other one.
Your Turn
Now it’s your turn to make! Start by getting your supplies ordered and gathered. The joy of ordering through me is that you don’t have to get in your car! The supplies come to you, just begging to be used.
And get this…I have actually found that the items I buy online get used more! I don’t know if it’s the anticipation of the items arriving or whether it’s that I know they are coming so I plan ahead with some scheduling, but they just do.
What about you? Leave me a comment and let me know.
Thank You
