Fast and Fun Halloween Card

Today we are making a fast and fun Halloween card.  To me, there are two types of Halloween styles: cute and spooky.  This one is definitely more on the cute side and is as sweet as can be.

There is nothing like the first bag of candy corn in the fall, similar to the first yummy apples of the season, but candy corn have this distinct taste that if you close your eyes and think for half a second, you can taste one right now.  (Funny share to come later in this post.)

Starting with that, I wanted to share a Halloween card with you using candy corn as the image rather than anything else.

Let me share the project with you:

How sweet is this?  It looks yummy enough to eat and simple enough to make in under 5 minutes.

All that you need are the supplies listed below, and it's a short list – no specialty tools, not even a punch.  It is using patterned paper that is an option when you reach the host level of ordering.  I am listing an alternate paper below as well, in case reaching that level is not in the budget 🙂

See?!!?  Not a lot of supplies at all.  Simply stamps, inks, a hint of patterned paper, and card stock.  That's all!

Thank You

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoy this project and it inspires you to create.  For the funny share… I promise you that Matt is always the first one to buy candy corn each year.  He beats out everyone else in the entire world, it seems, and he is so proud of that purchase.  He can't wait to share with me that he bought them.  Yet… he doesn't ever eat one.  Just buying that first bag brings him so much joy, lol!!!   See you in the next post!  XOXO, Meg
