Easy Fall Greeting Cards To Make in A Flash!
Today I've got another one of those fall greeting cards that can be used to say thank you for any reason or, if you are one of those awesome people who send Thanksgiving cards, you could whip up a batch of these in no time at all!
The Harvest Hellos stamp set features those big luscious apples and pumpkins, but don't overlook those sweet little leaves. I LOVE patterned paper as you know from this post and this post. Sometimes, though, I want something with fewer colors, or more colors, or exact colors. That's when I go and grab my little stamps that some people ignore. And I make my own “patterned paper” in the exact color scheme and scale I want.
This idea is pulled from just one of the many videos in Stamping Family – there are almost 180 different ideas on how you can create and use backgrounds as major card components. And the ideas aren't just all mine – there are plenty of ideas in the members individual galleries, just one of the awesome benefits you get as a member. (Imagine having your very own Gallery, loaded with your projects to save, share and show off!)
I mean, I am “professional grade” meaning I help people learn how to use and love their paper crafting supplies. And when I need inspiration, sometimes I go to Stamping Family and see just The Thing to get my creative juices flowing! If you feel like you are stuck in a rut of using the same embossing folder or one patterned paper, you totally owe it to yourself to check out the new improved and packed-with-ideas site!
Back to this adorable card….. The sentiment on the banner is from Praiseworthy Prose. This was a set I was hesitant to buy as I just didn't think I would use it much but boy has it turned out to be a Go-To! The sayings are perfect for when you need to say something but not necessarily something emotionally meaningful or super personal. I LOVE this set for batch cards because the phrases are heartfelt for the occasion but not so specific that you can't grab and go and add the personal stuff inside.
I want to just point out that perfect little bow on this card. I made this using my 10 Second Bow Maker which you can get here. We make these ourselves and we KEEP making them because we can't stop selling them! I created this tool because I felt like my bows NEVER came out right and when they are a major focal element, like on this card, the bows need to be practically perfect. At just $10 each they are an essential crafting tool and make excellent gifts for your crafting friends. I am mentioning these now to you, my fabulous followers, because we usually get an enormous influx of orders for the holidays and if you want one, you deserve a place at the head of the line! You can order them here and I promise you will thank me forever once you start using it!
