I had a card in mind for my sister's her birthday, is was an easy and elegant one, I wanted her to be able to easily duplicate it as she is a papercrafter with a new Big Shot – and since I left the card at home 150 miles away, it is a good thing that I made a video tutorial and took pictures of the card so she can still see it!  So I guess it became a digital card for today.

It was a card that can be made simply and easily, you only need a handful of supplies to get it done.

easy and elegant birthday card, stampin up, video tutorialAnd I wanted to use the supplies that she also got from her most favorist, most wonderful, most perfectist, thoughtful sister (that would be me) for her birthday.  You see, she was a holdout for the Big Shot, for YEARS she resisted.  I picked out some of the most useful and favorite accessories to go with her recently purchased Big Shot.  Some of the items we gave her were the Top Note Die and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder, two of the most universal Big Shot items I can think of (of course the Perfect Polka Dots was in her goodie bag too).

Supplies to make her Birthday card:

Stampin' Up! Stamps:  Bring on the Cake, Tea Shoppe

Stampin' Up! Ink:  Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake

Stampin' Up! Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake, Whisper White

Stampin' Up! Accessories: Pink Pirouette Taffeta Ribbon, Big Shot, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Top Note Die, Bitty Buttons, Whisper White Baker's Twine

Other Accessories:  10 Second Bow Maker™
