If you are looking for easy Christmas card making ideas you are in the right place today! I've got one that is super simple, really pretty, easy to make AND if you want to bling it up a little when you've finished the whole batch, you can spend a teeny bit of time on each one, customizing or embellishing to your heart's content. Check it out:
So pretty, right? One stamp set, two ink pads, three colors of cardstock and one punch are all you need to make this card. If you did decide you wanted to go back and gussy it up, you could add some Wink of Stella, some glitter, some more Basic Rhinestones or even some metallic thread or any of the metallic trims. But the basic card is still so pretty with that stunning Marina Mist/Real Red combo offset by crisp white.
Another thing about this card that is so great is that while I am always looking for easy Christmas card making ideas, this card fits the bill for those of you who send nondenominational holiday cards. Using the Marina Mist instead of a shade of green brings the card just that far enough away from “Christmas” and using the snowflakes certain does emphasize the season. Or at least the season for those who live in areas that get snow!
INSIDER TIP: Notice that while I used the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch, there's no “decorative ribbon border”. This punch creates a two sided strip and the opposite side of that fancy border are these sweet baby scallops. I love me a tool that does double duty!
Here is the very short list of things you are going to want to order if you see this card and think “THAT'S IT!”:
If you are looking for a card that you can do in stages, makes an excellent batch card, uses a limited amount of supplies and no crazy tools AND looks absolutely gorgeous, this is it.
