Thoughtful Branches is a limited time only stamp set, framelits and bundle available only through August 31st and it is selling like hotcakes! Crafters are loving the gorgeous details, the versatility and the beautiful greetings all in one set. I knew I had to have it the minute I saw it and like many others, I saw hydrangeas right away. I played around a bit and here's what I created:
While this card looks like it took a long time because of the many detailed looking elements, with the Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set and the Beautiful Branches Thinlits set, this card took me no more than FIVE minutes to put together! The top layer of the flowers gets its shaded look by inking up the stamp with Wisteria Wonder ink and then using the Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant Stampin' Write Markers to “scribble” over the inked stamp (always go lightest to darkest and you won't stain your markers). I cut that out plus a layer in Elegant Eggplant and put them together with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then used my finger to again “scribble” a little Liquid Adhesive over the flowers and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I used the coming-soon White Glitter Ribbon (in the Holiday Catalog!!!) and there's just enough sparkle on this card to make it special with very little fuss!
