DIY Card Making – How to Make Punch Art Candy Corn
For a couple of years now, I have made punch art candy corn using the Pennant Punch. It was great, but time consuming, a lot of punching, trimming, a lot of wasted card stock or patterned paper and then you wound up with a HUGE piece of punch art candy corn.
I wanted to make some that were closer to size for a card. We do Halloween treats around here, so I needed something to go along with that. And I need to make a lot of cards, and that meant making a LOT of punch art candy corn. I tried so many ways, and kept thinking there had to be an easier way than making them one at a time.
And then it hit me – PIZZA! Are you asking yourself, “What is she talking about? I thought we were talking about candy corn!” If so, no fear, we are.
I grabbed my circle punches and went to town and started making 8 candy corn at a time. I whipped out about 40 of these bad boys, cut them into 8th's and ta-da! Bam! I have over 300 of these cute punch art candy corns for my cards!
I posted the diagram on how to make these over on my Facebook Page today, click here to see it.
