Friday Flip – Daisy Flower Paper Punch
Welcome to a new Friday Flip where we will be focusing on FLIPPING a Halloween card using a daisy flower paper punch.
Daisies are my favorite flowers. If you don’t know me, my favorite color is white. Yep, white. I hear from people all the time that white is not a color – and I say phooey to that! So by knowing that white is my favorite color, it makes sense that daisies are my thing.
So when I can craft with daisies – and daisies that don’t die, to me that is a big win.
I squealed with delight when I saw the daisy flower paper punch debut in the annual catalog this last summer. Everyone else loved it too and it sold out rapidly. By the time it came back in stock, it was holiday catalog time. I am learning that this item has been something on a ton of “wish lists” but not purchased because of the timing.
My hope is that everyone reads this that doesn’t already have it scoops it up today 🙂 This world could certainly use more happy cards with daisies! This one is also a perfect shape. You can use it for cards, scrapbooks and 3D projects. The ones I have had in the past were just wee little punches, this is a perfect size.
I paired this set with a set that many think has already retired. It debuted in the Holiday Catalog of 2017, but it is on the “carry over” list – which I also found out recently through a survey that many of you don’t know that it exists. So we will cover that too.
Let’s start with our inspiration project, it’s a Halloween project from 2017. While digging through my box of favorites cards, this one jumped out at me.
You look at that and just INSTANTLY think daisies, right?
Let’s watch the video and see what you think…
Here is our flipped card:
Isn’t that daisy flower paper punch just perfect for that card? And because these faceted gems are clear, I love that you can customize them with your Stampin’ Blends! And most of all, this is a card that you can easily make a lot of in next to no time 🙂
Now It’s Your Turn
Start by thinking of how many people you can make and send this card to – start a list. What sentiment would you use in that darling label? Add that sentiment next to their name. Check the supplies/envelops you need, then all you need to do is order your needed supplies…
Here is the list of supplies you will need to create this card. To order any of the goodies, simply click on a picture below.
The Carryover List is a list of items that are from a previous catalog that has retired, but some of the items are still available. You can click here then click on “Holiday Favorites” on the left side to see the entire Carryover List.
I hope that you are excited enough to grab this daisy flower paper punch today and be creating with it in a week!
