Friday Flip – Daisy Flower Paper Punch

Welcome to a new Friday Flip where we will be focusing on FLIPPING a Halloween card using a daisy flower paper punch.

Daisies are my favorite flowers.  If you don't know me, my favorite color is white.  Yep, white.  I hear from people all the time that white is not a color – and I say phooey to that!  So by knowing that white is my favorite color, it makes sense that daisies are my thing.

So when I can craft with daisies – and daisies that don't die, to me that is a big win.

I squealed with delight when I saw the daisy flower paper punch debut in the annual catalog this last summer.  Everyone else loved it too and it sold out rapidly.  By the time it came back in stock, it was holiday catalog time.  I am learning that this item has been something on a ton of “wish lists” but not purchased because of the timing.

My hope is that everyone reads this that doesn't already have it scoops it up today 🙂  This world could certainly use more happy cards with daisies!  This one is also a perfect shape.  You can use it for cards, scrapbooks and 3D projects.  The ones I have had in the past were just wee little punches, this is a perfect size.

I paired this set with a set that many think has already retired.  It debuted in the Holiday Catalog of 2017, but it is on the “carry over” list – which I also found out recently through a survey that many of you don't know that it exists.  So we will cover that too.

Inspiration Project

Let's start with our inspiration project, it's a Halloween project from 2017.  While digging through my box of favorites cards, this one jumped out at me.

Now It's Your Turn

Start by thinking of how many people you can make and send this card to – start a list.  What sentiment would you use in that darling label?  Add that sentiment next to their name.  Check the supplies/envelops you need, then all you need to do is order your needed supplies…
