Curves and Straight Lines Looking Gorgeous Together

You will recall that I have talked about this concept and here's a card where curves and straight lines are looking gorgeous together.  Check it out and then we'll discuss:

Using the large polka dot paper from the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper and then using a large circle for the greeting gives the eye enough “echo” that the greeting really pops out.  Then using the simple rectangle of smoky slate and then the points on the banners give the eye that relief from the circles with crisp straight lines, making the whole card just come together with just that one stamp and the sweet little touch of bling in the ribbon.

TIP: Even though we have the most awesome Triple Banner Punch, adding banner points to smaller pieces is a snap when you use the Hexagon Punch; just line up the end of one of your strips with one of the points of the hexagon and punch.  This way, your banner ends will always be cut at the same angle and depth making YOU look like a pro with one good squeeze.
