As the “queen” of quick and easy I just had to share with you this project that shows you how you can create colorful birthday cards using one stamp set. I LOVE the stamp set Happy Birthday Everyone from Stampin' Up! because you can literally use it for…….everyone! It's a host set so you have to earn it through a qualifying workshop and there is no more fun way to get your hands on a stamp set! During Sale-A-Bration, I have a lot of customers who stock up on the supplies they use most throughout the year so they can get the Sale-A-Bration freebies and get hostess benefits. You've got until March 31st to get any item free with each $50 in purchases so you can get all kinds of goodies!
So let me show you the card:
You can see how using the main greeting with the “customizer” (“to an amazing woman”) repeatedly but using different colors adds a lot of motion and energy to the card without having anything other than one layer and those gorgeous colors.
It's very easy to create this kind of pattern – just ink up the larger stamp with your first color and stamp slightly off the center to one side – here the bright pink of Melon Mambo. Clean off your stamp, re-ink in your next color and stamp to the side as with the Daffodil Delight. And don't worry about it running off the page – you want that to happen!
Now stamp the customizing stamp underneath. Now you know where you can stamp the next row of colorful greetings and so on. In fact, you could stamp a whole sheet and make a small batch of cards!
Here's a peek at the inside:
Simple and gorgeous, right?
So go check out your stash and see how you can create colorful birthday cards using one stamp set you own and make a stash ready to go!
