Looking for a Christmas Washi tape project?  Here is a card idea complete with a video 🙂

I love washi tape, but sometimes get into a “washi rut” doing the same thing with it all the time.  The goal of this card idea was to:

• Share an idea using Christmas Washi tape
• Use minimal supplies

So let's see if I did it.  Below is a list of the supplies I used to make this card.

Well, what do you think?  Simple, right?

As you saw, it doesn't take a lot of washi tape either.

As I further explain in the video, you can use any embossing folder, you just don't want one that is too busy, as mixing patterns of washi tape is going to be busy enough.

Tips on how you can use this idea and change it up:

• Put your washi tape on horizontally or vertically – depending on the pattern of your washi.
• Mix and match colors of washi – the Candy Cane Lane washi is just red and white, but you can use any colors
• Change up the star,!  Try an ornament, a circle, a label shape – it can be most anything!

When you purchase a quality washi tape, you can also remove it from your card stock without damaging it, so don't be afraid to try different things.

• Whisper White:  4″ x 5-1/4″ (2)
• Crumb Cake:  3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
