Card Making on a Budget Using One Color
A lot of us like to make cards and when you make and send as many as I do, I do like to exercise my card making on a budget skills as often as I can. One thing that I have found that works really well for me is to make a slew of stash cards using one color ink and card stock paired with a neutral for a super fast and easy card making on a budget session. Here's one of those types of cards I am making this week:
I used the bright punch of Daffodil Delight against the crisp white which makes for a really cheery card with no additional embellishments. And the great thing about this card is that this stamp set, Hello, was FREE. Yes, that's right – it's one of the awesome free selections in this year's Sale-A-Bration collection. It's got just enough sayings and little elements that it's one of those sets you can use for so many different occasions. See what I mean? Super cute and totally useful! That Stamp-A-Ma-Jig sure cam in handy, too, when stamping all those little suns. Just push your clear sheet into the corner of the tool, snug your stamp right up in the same corner and stamp your placement image, then position the sheet with the placement image on your card where you want it, replace the tool, remove the sheet and snug your stamp up again in the corner and – VOILA! – perfectly placed images every time! It may sound confusing but follow the steps as you read them and you will see how easy it is.
