Easy Birthday Card for Boys and Men
Do you struggle at all with making masculine cards? If so, this is one to pay attention to. Recently I shared a similar version of this card that was made with feminine colors – and I promised to share how you can use the same stamp set for men and women, boys and girls. I am keeping that promise right here.
Here is the amazing stamp set that will let us do all of that. We are only using one stamp set for this card, and for the feminine version, same thing.
In just a handful of minutes, you can easily make this card. You don’t need a lot of supplies, let’s take just a few minutes to go over what you need.
Supplies
You won’t need much at all – like nothing at all.

The only things not listed are the Pinking Shears and patterned paper.
The Making
To make this card, start by stamping your word WISH onto piece of Whisper White (4” x 4-1/4”) in Call Me Clover ink. Next stamp the dots on top of the words in Blueberry Bushel.
Now it’s time to stamp the rest of your sentiment in Real Red ink.
Stamp the circles that would be your balloons in the assorted colors listed above. Finish with the diamonds in Tuxedo Black ink as shown.
Use a pair of pinking shears on a 4” strip of Blueberry Bushel card stock, then secure it to the top of your stamped Whisper White piece.
Add a strip of your black and white striped patterned paper to the top section of your Whisper White card base (4-1/4” x 11” or 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”) leave a 1/8” margin on the left, top, and right sides.
Then add your stamped piece leaving a 1/8” margin on the left, bottom, and right sides.
That’s it!
Isn’t that such a great card? And as you saw, it doesn’t use a ton of supplies at all or take a ton of time.
Your Turn
Now it’s your turn to make this card and also the other version of this card too! Order your stamp set right away so you can get started on them right away.
Keep in mind that Blueberry Bushel and Call Me Clover should be retiring in just a month. The retiring list usually comes out in April and the retiring In Colors should be on them. Everyone waits to get extra card stock and ink refills until they see them officially on the list and then they run out instantly. I personally will be stocking up on Blueberry Bushel and Call Me Clover – I LOVE them and use them all the time.
Thank You
Thank you so much for checking in today. I hope you like this project and are excited to give it a try. And don’t forget that here is the other version, I don’t want you to miss it. Off to create! See you in the next project. XOXO, Meg
