Retiring Item – Best Plaid Builder Dies

As I have had time to look over the retiring list, one of my favorite sets of dies is going away.  I love this set of dies, and hope you get it in your stash before it retires!  It's called the Best Plaid Builder dies.  This die set was part of a bundle, and still is for now.  The stamp set in the bundle, Best Year, is not retiring, just the dies.  But be sure to get the entire bundle, the stamp set is awesome.

Look at these cool dies.  It's a set of two that you can use together or separately.

Now let's make a card using it.  Let's make this bright and cheerful card right here…

We start by using the background die with our Daffodil Delight card stock.  Then add it to your Basic White card base.

Next die cut the Magenta Madness card stock with the top die and layer it on top.  You have a choice with this die – you can trim it to the length and width of the smaller die cut piece (in this case the yellow) or you can keep it to your full card base.

Add a sentiment and you are done!!  (note – this delightful sentiment stamp set is also retiring)

TIP – to make your layering of these dies easier, be sure to use the Adhesive Sheets along with the dies.
