Want a quick tip on how to perfectly stamp your background stamps on your card stock? If so, you are in the right place.
Today's video shares a tip that I have been using for years, as I was always struggling with getting it lined up when I went to stamp – resulting in a lot of frustration and card stock in the trash. And that is never a good thing!
Watch this quick video here:
This tip will work whether you are using Stampin' Up! background stamps or any others. Just by flipping our stamp over and leaving it on the table THEN inking it up and THEN laying the card stock on top, you get perfect results!
I hope that this tip is one that will help you out. For me, tips are always a light bulb moment. They save me time, save me money, and certainly save me from headaches and frustration!
Yesterday I shared a blog post that has all the background stamps from Stampin' Up! On there, I list my favorites and my least favorite, along with giving a tip on a fantastic way to use them – one I often forget about 🙂
This is another tip that was pulled from the Stamping Family website. If you like these kinds of tips, you really should become a member. We are adding new content every single week. Check out Stamping Family here.
Thanks so much for joining me today for this video tip on how to perfectly stamp your background stamps on your card stock. My goal on here is to inspire you to create more without any frustration.
great tip. I will be trying this.
Love the use of the graph paper. I do it the same way except I get the ink on my fingers so I will be using the graph paper as my massage cover. Love your tutorials. I’ve made lots of cards using your advice and ideas. Thank you.
Great! Keep tips coming, please?!

Awesome Claire!!
What a great tip! I already flipped my stamp over like you did, but I never thought to use the grid paper to keep the ink off of me. I was always a hot mess of ink after rubbing my hands over the paper. Thanks!!!
You and me both Gloria!!! Let me know how it goes for you!
I’m going to use this way on all of my large stamps. Thanks
