Another Simple Greeting Card Idea using Paper Doily Sizzlit from Stampin' Up!
Yesterday I posted a card idea using the Paper Doily Sizzlit (if you didn't catch it, click here). And I shared my love/hate relationship with this die. But while I was in the mood to use it yesterday, I die cut several different colors of card stock to have in the future. I cranked up the music, grabbed my trash can and paper piercing tool (and thought again that I really need those gloves like you wear when trying to get a shark to bite your hand to protect myself from me and my paper piercer) and went to town.
Today's card uses the Paper Doily die cut in Daffodil Delight. I added a bit of Smoky Slate behind it and then took off on a good ol' punch-a-palooza for layers and the sentiment came from A Dozen Thoughts from Stampin' Up!
Let me know if this is a card that you can easily duplicate or if this is one where a video would greatly help. Just drop me a comment below and share your thoughts!
About that… Did you know that I read every single comment left on my blog? If you take the time to write it, trust me, I will take the time to read it!

Nice card Megan. I think personally in my opinion, it would be pretty easy to duplicate. I really love all the layers. Lots of nice texture. 🙂
Thank you so much Bibi!!!
I would like the video of you poking out all those bits with your motivational music blasting. 🙂 Seriously, that doily is very pretty.
I will have to think about adding that one Pam!
If you use Wax paper when punching these doilies (or any of the die cuts) it makes it sooooooo much easier. The pieces come right out and saves so much time.
Great tip Cheryl! Thanks for sharing!
