Amaze a Friend Today With a Handmade Card
Do you have a friend that has surpassed a huge goal and needs to know how proud you are of her? I sure do! She did something truly wonderful and I am so excited for her and proud of her. This moment deserves more than just a quick “Like” on her Facebook post.
That's what we do these days right? We read about something and click the “Like” button – and we're done! Ick – blah – meh!
And for many things, that may be enough. But for what this girly did, she gets my love poured into a hand made card!
It's still a Monday morning, and even though I have had my two cups of coffee, it was still hard to get going. To get my craft on, I busted out my Polka Dots and put on a little Bon Jovi – she and I both love him. As the songs blared in my stamp room, I filled my mind with this girl. She is a touch of bling – not too much. She wears a lot of layers – you know that style with a straight cut shirt but with ruffles sticking out the bottom – that is her! Do you see that part reflected in the card? And while she is a complex kinda gal, deep down she is simple when it comes to what really matters. That is where the plain white background came into play.
The sentiments isn't over the top, it is just plainly the message of the card. And it is all her!
Who do you that you could amaze today with a handmade card? Is it for a congratulations? Birthday? Anniversary? First holiday without a certain family member? Whatever it is, take 15 minutes out of your day and send amazement in an envelope today!
Are you a Stamping Family member? If so, pop your card up in the gallery for us all to see – I can't wait to see it!

Simply gorgeous! I love how clean and crisp your card is! Beautiful color combination, too. Love the ruffle, glitter and polka dots. I alos love your thoughts about the importance of taking a moment to create something for the ones we love. 🙂
Thank you so much Kristine!
I like that little ruffle behind the circle – I’ve never thought of doing that. Your card is so lovely.
Blessings
