Make a 5 Minute Card? Yep – You Sure Can!
Today I'm going to show you how to make a five minute card that doesn't look like it took you only five minutes. It looks like it'll take you a whole lot longer but I promise you from cutting to completion, you will be done in under five minutes.
You know those situations where you need a card like yesterday for an occasion. This is the one to go to every single time.
Why, because we're only using two colors of card stock, one stamp set, one ink pad, and two markers. That's it!
You don't need any specialty tools, fancy equipment, or advanced stamping knowledge.
Let me share this project with you.

Make a 5 Minute Card
To make this card, I recommend starting by stamping your hearts first. Stamp them in a random pattern – twist and turn your stamp while stamping. Then fill in any gaps of spaces with your sentiments. Next, take your blends – or markers your choice – and simply do some rough coloring. Rough coloring is a technique that I teach in Stamping Family, this is it in its most basic form.
All it means it's we're roughly coloring in the different images. Like I said, there's other ways that we can rough color and do more with it, this is it its most simple form.
Then you layer it onto a piece of Smoky Slate card stock and then on to your Basic White card base.
And just like that, my friends, you're done! You have very little cleanup to do, and you're ready to pop this bad boy into an envelope and send it off.
One of the things I hear from papercrafters all the time is how long it actually takes to make a card. By the time you get out your supplies to the time you cut everything to the making, and then the actual cleanup (if we actually do the cleanup – let's be honest) can take a long time.
But this card is an easy win, that you can actually make in five minutes.
I hope you've enjoyed today's project. You can easily make a five minute card, I encourage you to give it a try! Leave me a comment let me know what you think, and make sure to order your supplies above. Know that every time you order supplies for me you are help supporting my small business and I greatly appreciate that. Can't wait to see you in the next project! XOXO, Meg
