Perfect Card To Kick Off a Vacation
I can't believe that we are actually going on vacation. It really doesn't seem real. When you take Covid into account and all the crazy that goes with that, along with Matt being really sick since September – he is improving!!! – and just everything that has led to this moment, it just doesn't seem like it will happen even though we board a plane in under 12 hours.
Once of the biggest hurdles to overcome the past two weeks was launching a new Stampin' Up! catalog along with Matt having a biopsy AND jumping through all the hoops to get to Hawaii right now – ALL AT ONCE.
But here we are.
Ever since Matt got sick in September, this has been the one thing on the calendar and the one thing he has been looking forward to. He loves the Stampin' Up! trips the same as me, and of course Emily loves them too.
Every single one of you that supports me and my small business has had a hand in this and I can't thank you enough. These trips are our vacations each year and they are the best times for our family of three.
I had a hard time getting this catalog kicked off with all the medical stuff with Matt, but was able to spend a little time here and there working on samples for you. And yes, I am starting with a card using a stamp set from the last catalog, but it seemed fitting to start with this project as I finally find my way back to the I Teach Stamping blog.
Check out this fun card featuring a cocktail to kick off the vacation:
I love the colors on this card and the brightness of it.
