Stampin Up Brushstrokes
If you already have your hands on the new catalog, you have probably noticed the samples on page 33. When I have shared the new catalog with my local stampers, everyone has stopped on that page and asked about how it was done. You can see their excitement in the two pig projects!
And then I tell them how it is done. Then you could visually see their excitement slowly drain away from their faces.
I can't show you the page, it's against the rules, but don't worry, I will show two very similar projects, and they took me less than ten minutes to make BOTH of what I am going to share.
All because I have this one background stamp, it's the brushstrokes background stamp – and it is retiring! So only available while supplies last.
Here are the two cards I made:
The sample in the catalog has you drawing every line with a Stampin' Blend. Can you picture yourself doing that?
I considered it, for about 1-1/2 lines and then went, UGH – no way!
But all you have to do, if you have the Stampin Up Brushstrokes background is ink and stamp. For the plaid one, ink and stamp twice.
While the background stamp is big enough to cover a standard size card, I used the note cards instead. The card size is 3-1/2″ x 5″, still a great size, and yes – they are mail well.
So if you like the look of the watercolor brushstrokes for lines or for plaid, make sure you get the Stampin Up Brushstrokes background stamp right now while you still can!
How to Get the Catalog
1) If you have ordered through my Stampin' Up! store in the last three months, you should already have your copy of the catalog.
2) If you haven't ordered, and want a copy of the new catalog, and you aren't working with another demonstrator, simply email me with your address and phone number and I will get one to you.
Here is the list of supplies I used – minus the Stampin Blends, they are still not available for order.
