I have the new Happy Thanksgiving die set from Catherine Pooler Designs, and it's my favorite type of word dies – a mix of script and serif fonts.
And I LOVE that the “happy” is the serif, because then I can use it on all kinds of cards. Simply use it as “happy”, that's sometimes all we need to say on a card. Or add birthday, Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Taco Tuesday – the sky's the limits!
For today's card, I chose to stick with the dies, just as they are, with some white card stock. That card stock is backed with an adhesive sheet that I stuck on there before I die cut the words.

I wasn't so sure how I would feel with the white lettering along with a lot of white card stock, but I really like it. I used some of the adorable plaid paper out of the To The Orchard patterned paper with a stitched banner die.
Behind that is some dry embossed white card stock onto a white card stock base.

And in no time, you have an adorable Thanksgiving card!

Then it was time to clean up my countertop and I was just about to throw out the white card stock that I had die cut my words out of.
But then I thought that I could use it! And I decided to give it a go…
I can't wait to share with you the second card, that one will be posted and shared soon.
Thank You!
