Super Simple Hand Stamped Valentine Card

Those of you who know me know I love simple but gorgeous and I think this super simple hand stamped Valentine card fits that bill!  Check it out and then I will tell you how ridiculously easy this card is to make!

Super Simple Hand Stamped Valentine Card

For this card I let a pattern from the Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper do most of the work for me – the graphic black and white all over pattern creates plenty of visual interest with just a couple of cuts with my paper cutter!  Placing the red banner behind the greeting panel and then the black banner OVER it makes the whole thing float off the page adding depth and pop with nothing more than just Stampin' Dimensionals – as Ina Garten would say “How easy is that?”

The greeting is from the stamps that are included in the Watercolor Wishes card kit and I have to say that as much as I love the components in that kit, I use the stamps a LOT!  They are wonderful greetings with two different typefaces so on their own they add a lot of interest to any card and as you can see here part of this card being super simple is that the only stamping I did was that one phrase!

Here's what I used to make this card:

A super simple hand stamped Valentine card like this can be made once for your special someone or fifty times for a classroom of friends with very little effort but a whole lotta love!
