Stampin' Up!'s From My Heart stamp set has the prettiest, sweetest sentiments and when you want to make an easy greeting card, it will do the bulk of the work for you.  I was instantly drawn to this set when the new catalog came out and I am thrilled that I got it then, it has been well loved these past few months.  And with Pennants/Chevrons still being all the rage in papercrafts, I figured I would combine the two for and let the sentiment shine with little else on the card.

Me, who should be the leader of PDLA (Polka Dot Lovers Anonymous), grabbed several different polka dot patterns from all different DSPs – trust me, if there is a DSP Pack that has polka dots, I know about it.  And then I went in two different directions – at the same time.  Have you ever started to make one card, had an ah-ha moment for another and completed both at the same time?  That was the wierdness that took place in my stamp room this morning.

For this one, sticking with the easy greeting card – I grabbed the DSP Paper Stacks with last year's In Colors.  There are polka dots in all the colors there, and I had a healthy stack of scraps of the polka dots, and just cut strips, then chevroned/notched out the bottom of each strip with a square punch.

Stampin' Up!, From My Heart, easy greeting cardSupplies Used to Create this From My Heart Easy Greeting Card:

Stampin' Up! Stamps:  From My Heart (wm: 126555 cm:126557)

Stampin' Up! Ink:  Wisteria Wonder (126985)

Stampin' Up! Cardstock:  Wisteria Wonder (122922), Pool Party (122924), Whisper White (100730)

Stampin' Up! DSP:  In Color 2011-2013 Paper Stacks (122384)

Stampin' Up! Accessories:  White Organza Ribbon (114319), 1" Square Punch (124094)

Other Accessories:  10 Second Bow Maker™

Yes, I did use my 10 Second Bow Maker™ for this card, and since the organza ribbon is a bit slippery, this was the way to go, because the ribbon won't come untied!  When you use the 10 Second Bow Maker, you are creating what I call a "Locked Bow", it is not like your regular bow – and it won't come untied on your project.
