I have to be honest, my clubs are one of my favorite things. Why? Because it is like Christmas every time the orders arrive. It does not matter if you are a card maker or scrapbooker, our products work perfectly for both hobbies. I should have taken a picture, but imagine this…
The UPS man (or as Emily still says, "It's the PS Mam!") arrives, I have stalked him, checking out the window multiple times a day whenever I hear the hint of a car coming down the street, he arrives. Now, allow me to say that I have a very scared, timid PS Mam, compared to my usual guy. And he really does not understand why I fling the door open to grab my boxes, he doesn't get it at all. Which is why I am sure he no longer rings the doorbell, he drops and runs.
So I hear the engine sound, jump over the sofa (not really, but I picture myself doing this so gracefully that I conjure up images of an Olympic athlete hurdling over the sofa and mini wall we have) and make it to the front door, open it so sweetly, grab the boxes, the scissors, the bags and the markers and I instantly know how Santa's elves feel seeing all the presents before they go out.
My club members pick everything from Stampin' Up! that I do not have. I try to be sure to always wipe the drool off their goodies before I bag it all up. You know, as well as I do, that nothing looks as great as when you are holding it in your hand. I put together my wish lists based on what is in those boxes.
WAIT – It's a too'fer day – double PS Mam deliveries, and you are witness to it!!! Can you believe that as I was typing about the PS Mam, he magically arrives a second time? Fate, yes, I think so! Oooh, it was new Stampin' Up! designer series paper – super, super cute!!! But not mine, it was Cassie's!
