I am so in love with this paper, I will be completely honest in saying that I will be getting more today – I have to have more of it! With one package of it, I have made over 30 cards. It has been so much fun to work with.
Remember that with Sale-a-Bration, you cannot buy the items, they are free with a $50 order. With each $50 in merchandise, you get to pick out a free item. Here are all the Sale-a-Bration items:

Today's card started with a sketch and a friend in mind. I have had her on my mind for several weeks now, and keep meaning to pick up the phone. So today, a card is going in the mail to her, and the Thinking of You sentiment was perfect for what I needed.
Since we are talking about the sentiment, let's start with that. I am not completely sure that I like the Sassy Salutations stamp set. The font is different, and sometimes looks a little creepy to me. But then when I tried it today, with the un-uniform polka dots patterned paper, it seemed to work. I had every intention of trying it and putting it back and opting for another stamp set. But the more I stare at it, the more I like it.
So the sentiment was stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe ink onto a die cut piece of Whisper White (Labels collection framelits were used). And then I went punch happy. I used the Banner Punch (a SAB item) with the Sweet Sorbet paper (another SAB item) to get my banners, and then I used the Owl Punch with extra pieces of Summer Starfruit and Crisp Cantaloupe card stock to get the circles and the hearts.
I laid this layer onto my patterned paper and it seemed to get lost – so a quick little sponging with Sponge Daubers and Pistachio Pudding ink around the edges and it was good to go.
That layer was almost complete, but something was missing. It needed bows for our banner. I quickly tied two bows using the White Baker's Twine and the 10 Second Bow Maker and ta-da – NOW that layer was complete.
If you struggle at all with tying bows, you will be amazed at how quickly you can do them with this bow maker!

The base for the card is Whisper White, and a layer of Crisp Cantaloupe went on top of that. Two strips of the Sweet Sorbet paper (same SAB item as before) cut at 1-3/4″ x 4-1/2″ were attached on top. And dimensionals held the sentiment layer in place.
To finish off the front of the card, I went with rhinestones in the upper left and lower right hand corner.
I kept the inside real simple, it is another piece of Crisp Cantaloupe and a strip of the same Sweet Sorbet patterned paper.
