Trust me when I tell you the Stamparatus is going to be your new favorite tool! What in the heck is a Stamparatus?
The new Stamparatus from Stampin' Up! is a new take on a hinged stamp positioner and clearly this tool has been engineered for maximum benefit. Here's a mini demo:
Isn't that SO COOL?
You can see that the plates are REMOVABLE meaning you can layer up to FOUR stamps to create your images or vignettes without having to change the stamps or the papers! Try doing THAT with a one-plated stamp positioner! This is a total game changer for those of you who love to make many of a specific card.
I am going to let Carrie from Stampin' Up! give you all the details on the Stamparatus but here are some things I want to emphasize:
- TWO removable plates! TWO! So FOUR opportunities to mount your stamps. I mean, my mind is blown! Think of the times you've used your one plate positioner and had to stamp all your vases, then all your flowers, then your leaves and then your greeting. Now you can do it all at once!
- BAR MAGNETS – not those little round discs that A – get lost and B – don't stay in one place. Seriously – SO much better!
- Can be cleaned with Stampin' Mist or baby wipes – no more expensive cleaner that evaporates before you can use it all up.
- It's priced at $50 – totally in line with (and even LESS than) similar products but is four times more useful! To reproduce the function of the Stamparatus with the original hinged positioner, you would be looking at spending over $200!
Here's an “official” video from Stampin' Up! – just watch and revel in the ingeniousness of this product!
Now, here's the additionally brilliant thing. You know how when something new that is so incredibly awesome gets released and everyone on the planet wants one and they stay up until the middle of the night to order and then you get up, even early, say, and go to order and it's SOLD OUT?
This time around Stampin' Up! is taking reservations for the Stamparatus. How it works is that there are three reservation periods during which you can order your own Stamparatus. Items will be manufactured to the numbers that are ordered (along with more for stocking up over the summer) and shipped during the shipping periods. Yes, you will need to provide your payment information to secure your Stamparatus but you will not be billed until it ships. This way you are guaranteed a Stamparatus from each batch that gets made and won't have to run the risk of wanting one so badly you just can't stand it and NOT getting one!
Here are the details on the Reservation and Shipping dates:
Reservation Windows | Available to Ship |
---|---|
November 16–30, 2017 | Approx. February 1, 2018 |
December 5–30, 2017 | Approx. March 19, 2018 |
January 15–30, 2018 | Approx. April 15, 2018 |
I don't know about you but I am SO getting in on this right away!
I will post some more information tomorrow but in the meantime, check out that video and comment below with your feedback and/or questions. And get ready to have your stampin' game changed UP with the Stamparatus!
When will the Stamparatus be available in Aust please?

Will you be notifying people when the Stamparatus is available to reserve again? I missed out the first time and don’t want to miss out when this comes around again. It looks absolutely fantastic and I can’t wait to get one.
Hi Joanie! I did send it out via email – at this point everyone that did not reserve one can order it June 1st 🙂
I am a new customer and I “think” I ordered this item. (Through the December order). I did not receive anything that would show that this order (reservation) was accepted. Should I have? I did not have a demonstrator so I just pick one close to home from website.
Hi Tonya! You should have gotten an email with your confirmation. Some people did and some didn’t – it went into a lot of junk folders.
The best way to know is to reach out to who you ordered from and have her look into it for you. She will be able to know for sure. (I know I looked into it from a lot that reserved through me that weren’t sure if they were on the list or not.)
