I don't know about you, but sometimes I get locked into making only holiday specific cards or birthday cards. By doing that, I can put myself into a creative rut.
My favorite types of cards to make are the “hi” cards, the “thinking of you” cards, the “just because” cards – but sometimes those get put to the side to make sure the other ones get done on time.
This year, I am working hard to focus on my favorites, and this card today showcases the “hi” theme perfectly!
My favorite colors to work with are bright and cheerful colors, and this yellow combo is a winner for sure.
I chose the Buzzy Bees stamp set and coordinating die set as the focal point of the card. And then used the Tattered Lines stencil to make the plaid background.

How cute is this?
The stamped honeycomb and the layer of black card stock really help this bee stand out even more. It's those little touches that take cards from good to great in my opinion.
So whatcha think? Are you ready to make this?
I hope so! You will need the following supplies.

Not a lot of supplies, right?
Add in your favorite black ink pad (I used Memento with my alcohol markers) and you are good to go!
I have gotten so much use from this cheerful stamp set and die set. I have another card with this same stamp set on the way! So stay tuned for that 🙂
