I am so excited to share with you the pictures of my FINISHED stamp room! The color of the room is indeed Pool Party and I L-O-V-E it! It is exactly the color that I had been trying to find over the past year. When this idea to paint first started, we bought about 8 samples and I had even more paint chips and nothing was exactly what I wanted. I wanted a Tiffany blue. Finally, mid-June, I was pulling out a piece of Pool Party Cardstock to work on a project, stopped and just stared at it, it was perfect! So we did take it to Home Depot and had it color matched, it was super simple and it quite the match.
Everything came out of here, except the cabinets, and they were emptied. See, when we moved out of our last house, it was such a frantic rush, that everything was just thrown in boxes, I was not able to go through anything. Then we lived in a hotel for a month. Then we moved in to this house, and once again, it was a frantic rush. We had mom's here for two days and I was so sick of boxes, it was unreal. The day after we moved in, we had to go out of town for a wonderful friend's funeral, and three days later was the Creating Keepsakes Convention. I had nothing ready, as everything had been in boxes for over a month. Matt got my cabinets back up in no time, Mom threw everything in my stamp room and still, nothing had been gone through. So I grabbed this opportunity with both hands and said that nothing was going back in until I had decided that it needed to stay. Of course, in my mind, this was a 6 hour project, not the two weeks that it really took.
Whew, long story just to introduce pictures, but here it is….
So I am dying to know what you think, leave comments below! And if you have questions about anything in there, please let me know!
Luv the color. Really liked the card holder. Will need to keep an eye out for one.
I just knew the color was going to be Pool Party! Everything looks wonderful and I know you are pleased. Can’t wait to see the finished product in person.
Hugs, Pam
Meg, it’s gorgeous! Done with the old, and here comes the new … I L.O.V.E. your ink-ribbon-punch area! And I love the kitchen counter height on those work areas, too. The certificate over the door? SO GOING to CASE that idea! I purchased Decor Elements that are sitting here just begging to be put up on walls. We got the room painted last night, cabinets arrive today and I’ll be sanding and painting the next (I hope only) two days. Great job on a great space!
okay so I am now completely waiting for jake to mess up so bad that he has to paint EVERYTHING that I want painted! or at least enough that he will feel he has to at least buy the paint for me…lol I have complete craft room envi!
Love ya!

I love your stamp room, how completely fabulous! I just googled you to find out if you had a blog and was thrilled to find out that you do. I attended the class you taught at convention and think you are fabulous! I loved your “Hostess Adventure Book”! I just created my own, with lots of CASEing of yours and am going to be demoing at our group meeting this Saturday. We are also going to watch a video of one convention class, guess which one… YOURS! Just wanted to let you know, you inspired me and I am passing it on! Thanks!
Happy Stampin’
