I shared my first card with some of the new supplies on Insta on Sunday and today I have another cheerful card to share.
This card is quick and easy one, using just one image, one sentiment, and a narrow strip of patterned paper.
If you are looking for card ideas that are easy to mass produce, and not fully traditional holiday colors, you have to stay tuned for this card.
With this new release, there is a new ink pad! That's right, a new ink pad! And I intentionally didn't mention it above, I wanted to see if you are still reading ❤️
This new color is called Sugarplum and it's as yummy as can be! It's a soft purple and it's just the right soft purple that it works great for Halloween, Christmas, and for springtime flowers. A great, all-year color.
Just a heads up before I share the card…
I added the new sequins to the card and then when I take the pictures, the lighting shows them not to match – it's just how the light reflects on it. They are a spot on match!

I love making my own backgrounds with stamps. The candy canes are stamped on just white card stock with Samba ink and the sentiment is stamped with the same ink. A strip of that Sugarplum and Samba color patterned paper ties it all together and adds a simple touch to the card.
Sprinkle on some sequins and you have your card!

This is OUR season as crafters!!! I always say that us crafters go to sleep on Labor Day and wake up February 15th. The middle is a crafting whoosh that is just too fun. This is my favorite time of the year.
